About me

I’m Natasha, I'm a college student and I come from a small country in South-East Europe named Serbia. Books have been a part of my life since I can remember,  it will always stay that way for me I'm pretty sure. Reading is what I do to relax and escape, and talking about reading is my favorite hobby.

Random facts about me:
  • My favorite book growing up was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
  • The book I re-read, again and again, is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. An all-time favorite, a book that made me fall in love with English literature.
  • My favorite genres to read are Historical Fiction, History, Fiction, Memoir, Biography, Classic Literature. I also enjoy sometimes to read Chick Lit, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance, Suspense.
  • My Favorite Authors are Alison Weir, C.J. Sansom, C.C. Humphreys, C.W. Gortner, Elizabeth Chadwick, George R.R. Martin, Hilary Mantel, Ildefonso Falcones, Michelle Moran, Robert K. Massie, Simon Sebag Montefiore.
  • Favorite historical figures : Henry VIII and his six wives, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Catherine de Medici, Edward III of England, Henry VII, Claude Monet, Rameses the Great, William Shakespeare , Vincent Van Gogh, William the Conqueror, Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, Leonardo da Vinci, Isabella I of Castile, Julius Ceasar.
  • My favorite movies are Forrest Gump, Fight Club, The Green Mile, Requiem for a Dream, Dead Poets Society, Edward Scissorhands, V for Vendetta, Good Will Hunting, Shutter Island, American Beauty, Into the Wild.
  • My All-Time Favorite TV Series: Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Game of Thrones, Fargo, Rome, Spartacus, Peaky Blinders, Downton Abbey, Isabel, Carlos, Rey Emperador, The Last Kingdom, Ekaterina, The Empress of China, Da Vinci's Demons, The Crown.
  • I listen to any and all kinds of music but some of my favorites are Rock and classical music.
  • I love Springtime. It is wonderful to see signs of new life after a cold winter. There are tiny green buds on the trees. The grass is turning green again,  the air is full of birdsong, and crocuses. It’s a season of hope and looking ahead.
  • There are many flowers I like, but there is one particular flower I am fond of. It is a sunflower. It looks like a smiling sun with a yellow color.
  • I have a dog which I took in when he was four month's old. It was my grandmothers funeral when a small puppy appeared, looking at me with big brown eye's, making silly sound's. Despite all sadness, I couldn't help and not to smile, he brought some light. Like it was meant to be. Now he has three years, big and looking dangerous, but he is the sweetest thing.
  • There are many different countries in the world I would like to visit but traveling to England is my dream. Every country is interesting on its own but England for me has so many things I feel drawn to. The beauty and unusual architecture, they are very traditional, and the history is just amazing. There so many places you can visit where some of the famous and big event's had happened in history. Like: Leeds Castle, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, Windsor Castle, Tower of London, Warwick Castle, and many more.
  • The other things I enjoy are: Walking in nature, art, unique things, hanging out with friend's and family.
